MBVS is a mobile-first networking platform developed for professionals across Switzerland, aiming to simplify how people connect, collaborate, and grow their careers. Whether you're a startup founder, freelancer, service provider, or job seeker, the app offers a unified space to meet like-minded professionals and access valuable opportunities.
The platform's core features include:
Location-Based Networking – Users can discover and connect with professionals and businesses nearby, making networking more relevant and efficient.
Event Discovery & Registration – An integrated events section allows users to browse local workshops, meetups, and seminars, register in-app, and even receive reminders.
Job Pool Access – The job section enables companies to post roles and users to apply seamlessly, making hiring and job-seeking frictionless.
In-App Messaging – A built-in chat system facilitates quick, meaningful conversations between users without needing to leave the app.
Premium Subscriptions & Payments – Users can unlock premium features or promote their listings using integrated in-app payments via Stripe.
User-Centered Design – Every screen was designed for clarity and ease of use, minimizing friction and enhancing engagement.
The app was built using Flutter for cross-platform compatibility and Firebase for push notification, AWS for database, authentication, and cloud functions. Emphasis was placed on scalability, responsiveness, and maintaining a native experience across Android and iOS devices.
MBVS combines the utility of LinkedIn, the immediacy of event platforms, and the accessibility of local job boards — all tailored to the unique professional landscape of Switzerland.
